The flat is purchased as an investment flat targeted for tourists. Initially the flat is dated with an enclosed kitchen, making the room feel trapped and uninviting. The project was undertaken with the brief to create an inviting, joyful space where guests can feel relax after a day of exploring the beautiful city of Edinburgh. The interior design is therefore aimed to bring lights in using colours, accessories and repositioning all the furniture. The wall between the kitchen and the living room is taken down to increase the sense of space, and making the energy flow seamlessly.

Residential flat, Edinburgh

The first-time owners purchased the unfurnished flat and felt that the flat lacked originality that they can connect with. We sat down with the client on the first consultation and took time to understand them. We do not only ask the typical questions, we used our expertise in guiding them to tell us what they truly desire, what they want in their lives, immediately we spotted the kind of connectivity they are looking for. Quickly after the consultation we worked on curating a soul space using the budget given - we picked the furniture, planned the space, selected soft furnishings and wallpaper, etc that complemented the existing wall colour and wood flooring.

We made use of colour, texture and accessories that best reflect their souls and gives comfort to them. We tailor made accessories package that could elevate the feeling of joy. The end result is clients who feel not only deeply connected to the space, but also themselves.

Luxury villa, Hong Kong

Project completed in 2016 whilst working at Ellermann Interiors. The 3-stories townhouse is located in a premium area in Hong Kong, overlooking Sha Tin racecourse. We added personality to the space through a thoughtfully curated art and accessories collection that complement the modern interiors.
